The class is fully credentialled and when coupled with 10 hours of driving time with our instructors, it meets every province of Alberta requirement to receive your Class 5 licence. Our simple guide to completing the course:
- Enroll in the Class 5 Online Course
- Log-in to the course via our online portal.
- Complete the course work at your own schedule.
- At any time after enrolling call us at (403) 272-4246 to schedule your driving time with our instructors.
- Complete the 10 hours of driving time.
- After completing the course work and driving time, you’re done!
Like learning at home at your own speed? Have a busy schedule that prevents you from attending in-person driving lessons? We’ve created an online course to help Albertans just like you get their Alberta Class 5 Operator’s License!
Our new online driving course allows you to take the program wherever and whenever it’s most convenient for you. Our Alberta Class 5 online drivers education program is fully approved by Alberta Transportation as an alternative to the 15-hour in-classroom course. This specially designed course features various activities, games, and speaker-narrated instruction that engages and informs students.
Derek Brown’s Online Calgary Driving school Class 5 course is:
- Recognized by Alberta as fulfilling Class 5 course requirements.
- Includes 10 hours of driving with our experienced and friendly instructors.
- Allows you to work with your schedule and pace.
- Gives you access to our experienced instructors to answer your questions.
- Provides everything you need to know to get your Class 5 licence.
For the driving portion, driving time consists of five 2 hour lessons that can be booked anytime Monday to Saturday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. You can book driving time by giving us a call!
The course is fully supported by an instructor who is available for questions and/or clarification during business hours (from 9:00am to 5:00pm).
Designed For Student Success
Each module is composed of informative slides that must be marked as “completed” to move forward. Every module has a final test summarizing the information that was just taught. As the student completes each unit, a summary test is given.
In order to pass our online driving course, students are given up to 3 attempts to complete the 15 hour instructional requirement, and must achieve a minimum score of 80% or higher.
